Brotherhood In Action
Brotherhood In Action of Bethel, Inc. is a local, all volunteer, federally recognized non-profit organization. Since 1980 we have been providing food, rent and utilities assistance, as well as other forms of financial assistance, to those in need who reside in Connecticut.
W.I.C.
The WIC program aims to safeguard the health of low-income women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, and referrals to health care.
Bethel Social Services
The Town of Bethel (TOB) has a full-time Social Worker (SW) to assist Bethel Residents with various needs. In working with residents of Bethel, the goal is to enhance the quality of their life, as well as to increase the opportunity to reach long-term independence and self-sufficiency.
Energy Assistance Program
This program is to assist eligible households with the cost of energy (electricity, gas and oil).
Day Care Assistance Care for Kids
f you are employed and struggle to meet the cost of daycare, you may be eligible for financial assistance through Care for Kids.
Transportation
HARTransit provides fixed route transportation to Bethel and the greater Danbury area
